What is the minimum age requirement?

Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply unless you are in the following states:

Alabama 19 years or older
DC 21 years or older
Mississippi 21 years or older
Nebraska 19 years or older

Do I need a passport?

Yes, you must have a valid passport to be overseas during the entire shoot.

Will you let me know how my application is doing?

No, due to the volume of applications we can only communicate with possible cast members who we think may be a good fit for the show.

If I am not chosen for the upcoming season, can I re-apply?

Yes, we encourage you to re-apply and of note, we do not keep applications from one season to the next. So you must apply for each season for which you would like to be considered.

When will filming take place and for how long?

Our next filming will be sometime between August and December 2017 and will last 25 to 30 days.

If I am picked do I need to be there the entire time of the filming?

Yes, you must commit to 25-30 days of filming and also taking care of patients.

Are there real patients involved?

Yes, you will be helping very poor patients in a third world country.

Will I be working in my chosen medical field?

That is unknown. Due to a number of factors you may not. For example a radiologist may be called upon to help with physicals.

Will I be paid for this?

Your travel, lodging and food will be provided for if you are selected as a medical cast member as long as you complete the mission. You will not receive compensation beyond that.

Will I need vaccinations?

You will need to obtain vaccinations for the country you will be filming in at your own expense.
